Managing Your Subscription

The list is hosted by Yahoo!Groups and the main LRML page can be found at:

Only members of the list can post and receive messages or view the list archives. To join go to:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lrml/join

Yahoo!Groups provides facilities for you to manage your subscription. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com or the groups main page at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lrml, if you don't have the site remember you, you will have to enter your Yahoo! ID and password to sign in. If you signed in via the Yahoo!Groups homepage, the groups you belong to should be listed on the left side of the screen, under the heading 'My Groups'. Select the 'LRML' link to go to the group main page.

The group main page allows you to control your settings and access the various facilities available. By selecting the message delivery options you can control whether emails are sent to you individually or in a single daily digest. Alternatively you can choose to just view messages on the web only, (also useful when you are on vacation to prevent messages building up in you mail box). You may also unsubscribe from the list from main group page.

Selecting the 'My Groups' link from the top of the page will give a list of the groups you belong to and your current settings.

To send a message to the list, simply write your message as usual and address it to lrml@yahoogroups.com. It will then be distributed to all members of the list. Messages should be plain text; not all email programs support text formatting. Alternatively, you may post messages via your browser at:

All messages to the list are archived on a daily basis and are available to members for searching. To view messages via your browser go to:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lrml/messages

Email attachments are not allowed and will be automatically removed if sent. A shared files area is available to members at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lrml/files

This may be used to upload files (eg. images or documents) via your browser for other members to view. Please use meaningful file names.

In addition to the web interface, Yahoo!Groups provide a number of special email commands. For all the following commands, just send a blank email to the address:
