Hello to all,
I'm new to this discipline but think that I'll enjoy it. That is if I can get this old frame up and down from the prone position. Haven't shot prone in years.
I have some experience with muzzle loading slug guns that I hope will transfer to long range. The furtherest that I've shot my slug rifles is 500 yards and the longest rfange I have available is 600 yards. That's a long way from 1000.
I recognize some names here and look forward to meeting more of you.

Welcome to the forum Richard. 500 and 600 yards are good ranges to start to get to grips with coping with changning range conditions. If you already have some experince at this and are coming back for more then I'm sure youll enjoy 1000 yards!
