Title: Re: Pics of my Almost finnished Rigby Post by David on Nov 4th, 2007, 8:53am It's looking good and come on a long way since the earlier pictures you posted. So what's left to be done other than install the rear tang sight? David |

Title: Re: Pics of my Almost finnished Rigby Post by izuzan on Nov 4th, 2007, 12:59pm the rear sight is gonna be a pain. i have to make a little Wedge to fit it to the tang. (flat sight base, with a curved tang) i also have to do some fine tuning on the inletting of some parts, and i need to get the furnature blued or color casehardened. (it looks nice with the silver. but there is NO way i can keep it silver lol) i think it would look just as good with the pearly colors coming off color casehardening. there are a couple of little mistakes on the gun i need to correct took a bit to much wood in one place that i need to correct by removing some metal from the part that buts up to it. |
