Hi, I am intersted in british muzzle loading rilfes and I want to buy an enfield p53 repro, for target/fun shooting and mayby for hunting.

I have got 2 questions: Which company makes good repro guns.

And which animals can be hunted with an enfield?

The Parker-Hale reproductions are widely regarded as good quality Enfields. These as you are probably aware are no longer manufactured, although do crop up on the 2nd hand market.

I have heard good reports of Euroarms repros. There are other makes, but judging by postings on US message boards some appear to be aimed more at the re-enactor market than the shooter.

With regards to hunting, you'll probably get a better response from some of the US forums. Try:
