Looking for a british leather maker

I had the occasion to see a military holster for the Colt 1911 bearing the broad arrow with an "H"
and marked G.P.&S. (I suppose he would be a maker). Strange enough this holster is a classic 1916 model with the big oval stamp "US" on the flap. Is there a nybody could tell me something more?

Not something I know anything about, but you could perhaps try posting on the Military Surplus Forms at http://6thofthe31st.com/milsurp/bb/index.php

There might be someone there have some ideas.
