South Africa has hosted the World Long Range Championships twice, 2001 and 2007. The venue for each Championship has been the Good Hope Shooting Range, Cape Town.

Shooting Range
Good Hope is a military shooting range with firing points from 100m to 900m. Up to 800m there are 30 targets (Lima, November & Pappa 0-9) per distance but at 900m there are only 10. Select to enlarge
