So far as I know the book is out of print, so unfortunately it is a case of scouring the second hand book market or specialist dealers who may have some old stock.

For some general information on paper patching see: www.lrml.org/technical/ammunition/patching.htm.

There's a pictorial guide to patching a bullet plus links to other internet resources.

Thanks David,  I have a handle on the basics but with 144 pages I just bet he covers a lot of ground.  I'll keep looking.
Best regards, and good shooting,  Phil

Peeps, if there's 144 pages worth of knowledge in the book I must have missed something. Brent Danielson bases a fair bit of his web site on Matthews' work, you can read most of what's important there...here: http://www.iastate.edu/~codi/PPB/PPB.html

You can also find some info from outside the box at http://wyomingschuetzen.com/ and http://www.assra.com/ for the asking.  It's not magic.  All else fails and your desperate for a copy, PM me.  I don't drop in often but now and then....

Dan, thanks for the very useful info.  I should have everything in hand this week to start my amazing adventure with small bore bullet guns.  Should be fun.   Peepsight
